I like this street art because its different to anyother Iv seen, Banksy does artwork that stands out and has a more 'out there' message. their text is messy and large so it grabs peoples attention.
I think the painting is using s a stencil and paint or spray paint.

These are vintage marilyn manson posters for some of his first shows. I like how childish they look with adult content. I like that mix of cartoons such as scooby doo and the grinch mixed with people such as charles manson and naked women because they clash. I like the use of text and the wording used because its more direct because its worded so that teenagers would be interested.

Ed Ruscha- text as image

Ed Ruscha uses the use of simple text on mainly plane backgrounds. The text he uses is out of the ordinary phrases, he uses acrylic on canvas. Ed was born in 1937 in Omaha, USA into a christian family, Ed experienced with strange types of media in his painting such as red wine, gun powder and even blood. I like ed's work because its simple but strange and interesting, I like his use of difforent medias aswell
