Ed Ruscha- text as image

Ed Ruscha uses the use of simple text on mainly plane backgrounds. The text he uses is out of the ordinary phrases, he uses acrylic on canvas. Ed was born in 1937 in Omaha, USA into a christian family, Ed experienced with strange types of media in his painting such as red wine, gun powder and even blood. I like ed's work because its simple but strange and interesting, I like his use of difforent medias aswell
