catalog - the weeds

'The weeds' is a catalog of a drawing project by a art school. its a pretty thick book with a mixtue of pictures and writing, a lot of pages are just covered in drawings and then there will be sections with a lot of writing. I really like this catalog because of how many pictures are in it and how the theme of 'weeds' is consistent throughout the book and how it shows different types of art on that subject. I also like the use of layout with the art, how some take up a whole page and others share a page.
The front and back of the book are quite plane and on the inside the writing is also quite plane but i like how the work is colorful so it kinda of takes away the plainness.
